Redenrore
The feast of the "Redeemer" is marked by yet another
regatta on
the Grand Canal. The night before, people eat a traditional
meal
of roast duck and sit back to enjoy some spectacular fireworks.

Regatta Storica
Historic gondola race along the Grand Canal. This is preceded
by a parade of boats decoraded 15 century style.
Annual event since 1274.

Madonna della Salute
Special processin over bridge of boats across Grand Canal gives
thanks for the city's deliverance from the plague in 1630

Now held on every odd-numbered year between June and November in
permanent pavillons in the Giardini Pubblici.
